Gas Line Installation & Replacement
Gas work is not a place to cut corners. Lines have to be correctly sized for the appliances they feed, properly supported and protected, pressure-tested, and signed off by inspection.
We install new runs, replace corroded piping, and upsize existing lines where an appliance needs more than the current pipe can deliver.
Sizing the line
Pipe size is calculated from the total demand of everything on the line and the distance it has to travel. An undersized line starves appliances at peak — this is the usual culprit when a new tankless heater never quite performs.
Testing and inspection
New and altered gas piping is pressure-tested and inspected under permit. That is not a formality; it is how you know the system is sound.
If you smell gas
Do not switch anything electrical on or off. Leave the building, and call the gas utility from outside — they will make it safe. Once it is safe, we can take care of the repair or replacement.
