Water Heating
Water Heater Installation & Replacement
Most storage water heaters give somewhere around eight to twelve years of service before the tank itself starts to go. Once a tank is leaking, it is a replacement — the tank is the part that has failed.
We service all makes and models, and specialise in Bradford White, MacClean, Noritz and Rinnai.
Sizing it correctly
An undersized heater runs out; an oversized one costs more to buy and to run. Sizing comes down to how many people are in the building and how the hot water is actually used — simultaneous showers, a large tub, a commercial fixture load.
Bringing the installation up to code
Requirements have changed over the years. Seismic strapping, the temperature and pressure relief line, drain pans, combustion air and venting, and the gas connection all have to meet current California code — not the code that applied when the old unit went in.
Taking the old one away
The old heater goes with us. You should not be left with a rusting tank in the side yard.
