Drains & Sewers
Sewer & Drain Video Inspection
A camera inspection replaces guesswork with a picture. It shows what the pipe is made of, what condition it is in, where a problem sits and how deep it is — before anyone digs anything or quotes a replacement.
It is also one of the more useful things you can do when buying an older Ventura County home. A sewer lateral is expensive to replace and is not covered by a standard home inspection.
What the camera shows
Pipe material and diameter, root intrusion, cracks and separated joints, sections that have lost their fall and hold water, scale build-up in cast iron, and anything foreign that has found its way into the line.
Locating the problem from above ground
The camera head can be tracked from the surface, so a fault can be marked on the ground with its depth. That is what turns a vague problem into a defined, targeted repair rather than exploratory digging.
A second opinion you can see
If you have been told a line needs replacing, an inspection gives you something concrete to weigh that against. We would rather you understood the reasoning than took our word for it.
